War Metal Tyrant Guide: Player vs Player (PvP) Arena Decks with Auto On

Tyrant Raiders PvP Arena Victory

Assuming you don't have the patience to have Auto off at all times, the three decks below are all well balanced and will allow you to have Auto on and win a very high percentage of your battles. I personally love the Imperial and Raider decks with all the new cards that have come out recently, but if you're addicted to Xeno decks you'll find some tweaks to be competitive in today's PvP battles.

  1. Introduction

  2. Old School, Basic Decks: Xeno | Imperial | Bloodthirsty | Raider

  3. Nexus: Raiders (with Intro to Nexus Packs) | Imperial | Bloodthirsty | Xeno

  4. Endgame Campaigns: Raider Campaign: Homeland Defenders | Imperial Campaign: Halcyon's Elite | Xeno and Bloodthirsty Campaign: Creature Combo

  5. Achievements: Speedy Blightlands and One Hit Kill | Raiders Unite, Speedy Wastelands, and Nexus Conqueror | Nexus Heavy Hitters, Emperor, Homeland Annihilator, Elite Annihilator, and Creature Annihilator

  6. Player vs Player: Bloodthirsty and Strike with Auto Off | Imperial, Xeno, and Raider Decks with Auto On

  7. Raids: How to Participate, Rewards, and How to Win

Balanced Imperial Deck with Counter

Tyrant Imperial PvP Arena Balanced Deck

It took a bit of time playing missions to get the cash for all of these Faction Rewards, but this deck is really tough. I'm using Freddie for it's Heal All Imperial 1, but some people use the Nexus card Dracorex for it's Weaken All 1. I use the Legendary Nexus card Helios for it's Evade + Heal All Imperial 2, but if you're going the weaken route use the Legendary Nimbus since it's a sick card w/ Weaken All 1 + Jam + Flying. Trident is the bulk of this deck, with it's Counter 2 and Immobilize. It would be best if they were played early since both of those modifiers are useful only when there is an opposing assault card. Next, knock out the Imperial Nexus campaign Halcyon's Elite 4 and get the Fortifer card. Armored, Flurry, and Pierce with a Wait of 3? Really overpowered and I love it! Posiedon's Seige, Heal All, and AntiAir is another must, along with Exodrone for it's Flying and Counter 2. For the last two cards, look for balance. I chose the ComSat Terminal b/c of the frequency of Xeno decks + Rally All 2 can overcome Weaken decks. Finally, this deck is weak against Structures - more common in defense than offensive decks, so I chose the Faction Reward card Full Power for it's Rally All 1 and Seige 4. You can leave Auto on with this deck and win 9/10 battles in a faction war.

Balanced Xeno Deck

You're too stubborn to move past Xeno decks and I understand. Vyander is a must because no other Xeno commander can overcome the value of Heal All Xeno 1. Supposing you have either Legendary Xeno cards and Stealthy Niaq (a reward for completing the Speedy Blightlands Achievement), then you can put together a well balanced tough deck w/ a variety of the best cards. Since Mind Controller cards are les spopular you can get away with using the Xeno Mothership since it's Rally All Xeno 2 and Strike 2 + Flying is worth it's high Wait. In my opinion, today's PvP battles require you to use two Earthquake Generator cards in this deck to balance out the limited Seige found in the best Xeno cards. After that, pick nearly any high-end Xeno card. I recommend you avoid Tremor Wyrm because of it's high Wait, low life (2), and if facing Mimic you'll lose that card and more to Strike All 2 being turned against you. You should also stay away from Pathrazer, because while it has Seige it's Fear means you won't be harming opposing units. Supposing you come up with a deck with a lot of Rally, Fear, and probably Strike cards then you may want to use Pathrazer, but that would be a different deck for another day.

Balanced Raider Deck

You've knocked out most achievements and missions, opened some Nexus packs and got a Collosus and Yurich, and you can put together a very well balanced player vs player Raider deck. Command Center is the most essential part of this deck - Rally All Raider 2 on a structure with a Wait of 3 is unbelievable. I think you could use some of the lesser earlier Raider cards like Pyro Rig and Cannon Walker - but there are better cards. For instance, if you beat Homeland Defenders 4 you get Gun Raven - Wait of 4, 10 Health, Immobilize, and AntiAir 3. If you knock out the Raiders Unite achievement you can get the Bulldozer w/ Avoid and Rally Raider 3. If you've won 5000 Arena battles, then I believe the Dozer Tank is another must because of it's Counter 2 and Regen 2 - paired with Yurich's Heal All Raider 1 and you'll have a very pesky unit taking out multiple opposing assault cards. Any Legendary Raider will do, and I would favor Goliath for it's Armored, Heal, and Rally - but I don't have it and Omega works really well too with it's Weaken, Seige, Strike, and low Wait. From there, choose from the other great Raider cards - like Hydra, Colossus, Ravenous Beast, Havoc, Mech Walker, Bolide Walker, and Anvil.

Assuming you have the cards and strategy down, enjoy winning nearly every player vs player battle you engage in! I'm finding that with any of these decks I win 8-9/10 of my battles vs all players who have 5000 Arena points. The Bloodthirsty is my favorite for offense, but figure out what suits your style best!
