Opportunity LOL Reviews: POP! Holiday Vinyl Figures
I am the person who claims they will go out and purchase a Christmas tree every year. This season I even got all the way to the tree farm with my girlfriend before we mutually decided we'd rather skip all the hassle. Finding special ways to add some holiday cheer to our home is something that is still a priority so naturally when we came across these special Holiday POP! figures in Target reasonably priced we couldn't resist. There are a total of five characters in all and each box is numbered from 1 to 5. The color of the box is differentiated by the film each character originally appeared in, for instance Bumble is in a red box because he was from the Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer® Movie. The vinyl figures include Santa Claus, Bumble™, Rudolph™, Snow Miser™, and Heat Miser™.
Are there quality control issues? Since we stood in the aisle of Target for an extended period of time hand picking which figures looked best I was content with the quality of the figures once they were unboxed. While some of the characters have slight dings and scratches, nothing is significant enough to detract from my overall nostalgic enjoyment. Given I grew up watching all of the holiday specials as a child, I was excited to purchase all of them. Besides, spending a total of $25 for the entire collection - it's unreasonable to expect these figures would be flawless.

To offer some background, these are my first POP! toys that I have ever owned. While the Funko® brand has partnered with Disney in recent months, none of Disney's vinyl toys called to me more then their Vinylmation releases. I sincerely hope future POP! holiday cross-overs occur because clearly Frosty needs to be made, but in the meantime I am perfectly content with my special holiday characters on their own shelf.
