Winning the Bloodthirsty and Xeno Campaign: Creature Combo

Above is the deck I used for the first three missions of Creature Combo. I found it extremely easy with this deck. No real Seige cards from your opponent, not a lot of heal, and I got away with just using some very high powered cards. I used a lot of cards that have decent life that don't have an absolute focus on high attack power. The enemy commander, Dracorex, has Weaken All 1 and so you shouldn't focus on high Wait, High Attack cards as they'll have limited use. Three cards with Counter + the Legendary Nexus card Helios + a Heal All Commander lead to multiple ways to damage while keeping the units themselves alive. While my units act as shields, I use three structures with high Strike values. I didn't use many units themselves with Strike because the first three missions of Creature Combo have Strike, and you don't want your missiles sent back at you. Overall, the strategy here is use some meatshields without Strike, make sure you have Healing of some sort, and then go nuts with action cards and structures with Strike.

How to Defeat Creature Combo 4

I had a very tough time with mission four, and I'm assuming you will too. I believe there is only one or two cards from your opponent with mimic, but you'll be facing a Commander with the following stats: Heal All 1, Weaken All 1. To make matters worse, they have the Legendary Xeno Nexus card Ragnarok with Weaken All 2, Seige 3, 5 Health, and a Wait of 3. So, how to win? Well, high health units or structures with Strike are your friend here. Titan's Strike 3 is great and it's Seige is invaluable. I used a couple Imperial Valkyrie cards because I have a healing commander, three other healing units, they have 5 health (decent), a Wait of 2 (Awesome), and Strike Xeno 3 (Whoa!). Don't go nuts though, because most of the toughest units are bloodthirsty. However, getting even one Valkyrie out is sufficient to wipe out most Xeno cards so long as your units have high health and heal. I used two EMP cards with Strike all 2 because I need to be able to wipe out the low health cards with good damage. If I can time them properly (take Auto off!), then I can get away with using two structures with Strike to do the bulk of the damage. I chose Missile Silo for it's Strike 4, and Earthquake Generator for it's Strike All 1 and Seige All 1. It's a well rounded card that fits well in trying to win this mission because your opponent will throw a lot of structures and units at you. If you don't have Helios with it's Evade, high health, and Heal All Imperial 2, then an Aegis with Armored 1 and Heal All 2 and one less Wait will replace it well. Poseiden is your reward for completing the Nexus missions before the campaigns. It has AntiAir 2, Heal All 1, and Seige 2 with a Wait of 3. It's extremely powerful so it has to be unique. I won roughly 50% of my attempts on this mission, and the reward?

Your Reward for Completing Creature Combo: Shapeshifter

Shapeshifter Mimic Bloodthirsty Reward Tyrant

Neat? I dunno, I kinda expected something cooler. Shapeshifter is definitely great - Wait 1, 2/4, and Mimic makes it extremely helpful and might even qualify to be in various decks of various factions, but for the difficulty of the campaign is a bit incongruent with the reward. This card does fit in well with a specific type of bloodthirsty deck I see often - using multiple rally structures with low wait times to almost immediately do 4-5 damage every turn - letting you wipe out high HP high Wait units. Against cards with Seige and Counter the deck does poorly, but overall Shapeshifter can play a solid role in most bloodthirsty decks.
